A writing challenge: a Parallax narrative. Sometimes the story doesn't change. Only where you're standing does.

At the start you'll get three pairs of prompts and choose one pair. Each pair gives two perspectives or fragments of a larger story: different characters, different moments, different experiences of a shared setting. Build a complete narrative from them in any form (a short story, alternating perspectives, letters, diary entries, transcripts, fragments) and any genre.

The two prompts can't just sit side by side as two stories. Find a meaningful relationship between them and use it to build one larger narrative. The characters may meet, never meet, or be linked by an event, place, memory, object, decision or consequence. If a story is seen from two different places, what changes?

Deliverable: an A4 PDF, 800 to 1,000 words.
